Auto-Motorcyle Crash (Fatality) Investigation:

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is providing an update regarding the auto-motorcycle collision that resulted in the death of the motorcycle operator on July 23, 2026, along Chalan Pale Arnold Road in Chalan Lau Lau.

Based on the preliminary investigation-including evidence collected at the scene, witness statements, and a statement obtained from the vehicle operator-charges have been filed.

Jimmy Pallada, 62, has been charged with:

• Failure to Yield the Right-of-Way to a Vehicle

• Operating a Motor Vehicle with an Expired Driver's License

• Vehicular Homicide

The case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
