Built By Latte Built: Erica Zandueta

Welcome to MP’s monthly segment, Built By Latte Built.

This segment highlights athletes and individuals training at Latte Built who are chasing their fitness goals and inspiring others along the way. 

This month, we feature Erica Zandueta—an up-and-coming volleyball player with experience locally and regionally.

She was a member of the NMI women’s national indoor volleyball team—the first one in years, which competed in the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau. As a junior at Marianas High School, she helped her team secure the girls volleyball championship for school year 2025-2026, also won the championship with her team Lady Starz in the 4 Starz Fall Fest Volleyball Tournament 2025, won second place in the Agape Winterfest 2025, and competed on Guam for the Pacific Jam Beach Volleyball Tournament in March of this year. 

The 17-year-old has been a member of the gym for four months and tries to work out four to six times a week. She lifts heavy, does plyometrics, and does workouts to help her get better and stronger as a volleyball athlete.

As to why she chose Latte Built, she said “it’s the environment of the people around me. They are really consistent and that pushes me to stay motivated myself.”

Her favorites of the gym are the staff, the people, and the equipment. “The workers have good work ethic and they’re really nice to new customers. And I like the community, they really do mind their business. And also the equipment here which makes me motivated to workout everyday.”
