CNMI Republican Party to Elect Officers

The CNMI Republican Party has announced that it will host general membership meetings this Thursday, May 15, 2025, on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

Meetings will be held at Garapan Central Park on Saipan, the Fiesta Grounds at Jones Beach on Tinian, and the Roundhouse in Songsong Village on Rota.

Membership registration will begin at 5 p.m., with the meeting starting at 6 p.m. and voting for new officers closing at 7 p.m., according to the general membership meeting announcement by CNMI Republican Party President Ramon A. Tebuteb.

A party official clarified that only registered Republican Party members will be eligible to vote. Candidates for officer positions will have the opportunity to speak upon accepting or declining their nominations.

The current party officers include President Ramon A. Tebuteb, First Vice President Candace Celis, Second Vice President Lee Pan Guerrero, and Treasurer Dan Quitugua. The secretary position remains vacant.

The party’s previous general membership meeting, held in January, featured discussions on the future direction of the CNMI Republican Party and CNMI Governor Arnold Palacios’ decision to rejoin the national Republican Party.
