Healthcare Professionals help heal Rota inside and out after the storm

Healthcare teams have been dispatched to the typhoon ravaged island of Rota, focused on the health care and mental health needs of Rota residents after the direct impact of Super Typhoon Bavi.

A doctor and nurse out of the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation, along with their team have been conducting home visits, assessing the healthcare needs of residents and setting them up with appointments when necessary.

In addition, a joint group of mental health professionals, have also been conducting their home visits, executing surveys of residents’ mental state and providing the necessary counseling when available.
