Project OLEAI Youth Summer Camp, which focuses on sports education, community service and engagement, cultural activities, leadership, and drug prevention education for children ages 6 to 17, is pushing through from Tuesday, July 14, to Friday, July 31, from 7:30am to noon, despite a delayed start due to Super Typhoon Bavi.

Because of the shortened schedule, organizers said all participants will now be combined into one group instead of following the original split schedule.

The camp is made possible by partnership with the Office of Rep. Elias Rangamar and the Youth Affairs Office, and is funded through a sub grant of Partnership for Success under CHCC.

Listen to project manager Aunica Lizama and some of the camp’s counselors—Rizza Relucio, Omari Joab, Dereck Rangamar, and Simon Tang, as they share what participants can expect from the camp, which will be held at the Gualo Rai Youth Center.
