Saipan Mayor RB Camacho calling upon residents to join cleaning up the Chalan Kanoa Cemetery

SAIPAN, CNMI — Saipan Mayor Ramon "RB" Camacho is calling on local residents to join Mayor’s Office personnel and our Probationers in cleaning and preparing our island’s largest cemetery.
The Saipan Mayor’s Office and the CNMI Office of Adult Probation are conducting a joint cleanup of the Chalan Kanoa Cemetery However, with staffing and resources stretched across the island, community assistance is needed to complete the effort. We call upon residents with loved ones buried in the cemetery to join us as we clean up the cemetery.
Following the Chalan Kanoa cemetery cleanup, operations will shift to the Tanapag Cemetery where we also call upon local residents to join our efforts.
This annual project offers everyone an opportunity to unite and honor our dearly departed by beautifying their resting places. Despite this challenging year, Mayor Camacho invites residents across Saipan to roll up their sleeves and lend a helping hand to one another. (Preparation for All Souls Day.)
