Saipan resident reflects on a lifetime of Storm Endurance

Longtime CNMI resident Rosa "Chai" Palacios shares her memories of storm preparedness on Saipan. "I've experienced all the strong storms since 1968 — all the typhoons here. Everybody's so scared," she said. Recalling the storms of her past, Rosa affirms the value of family and prayer in storm preparedness. "Prevention is the best medicine," she added.
