Unidentified Female Found Deceased; Department of Public Safety Requests Public Assistance

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating the discovery of an unidentified deceased female found on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Roberto Compound along Airport Road.

At approximately 9:47AM, a resident searching for a missing cow along the western border of his family compound observed what appeared to be a fresh trail through tall grass. While following the trail into a jungle area between two neighboring family compounds, the resident discovered what appeared to be a deceased person lying in a small clearing. The resident immediately contacted the Department of Public Safety.

Crime Scene Technicians (CST) and Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) personnel responded to the scene at approximately 10:15 a.m. and processed the area. Family members from both neighboring compounds were contacted, and all were accounted for. At this time, no one at the nearby residences has identified the deceased or reported knowing who she may be.

The body was transported to the Commonwealth Health Center and pronounced at 11:24AM. The cause and manner of death remains undetermined pending further investigation and the results of an autopsy, which has been requested.

The deceased remain unidentified.

She is described as: Approximately 5’2” to 5’8” in height

Hair slightly longer than shoulder length

DPS is asking members of the community to assist in identifying the deceased. Anyone with a missing family member or anyone who recognizes the description or clothing is encouraged to report it immediately to the Department of Public Safety. Individuals who may have information relevant to this investigation are also urged to contact CIB at 670-664-9042, or DPS front desk at 670-664-9001.
