CEC meets before Election Day

Commonwealth Election Commission executive director Kayla Igitol Magofna updates the CEC commissioners today during a meeting at their office in Susupe.

She told the board that they’ve sent out 84 notices of challenge but only received 10 appeals.

They also sent out 1,420 absentee ballots for the general election, including over the counter ballots.

The executive director said there are notably less voters coming out to vote early so far compared to previous elections.
