Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop hosted by Office of Information Technology

A Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop by The Office of Information Technology (OIT) was held today. This year’s theme is “Securing the Next 250 Years in the CNMI.”

In FY2026, the Department of Finance experienced an increase in targeted social engineering and phishing attempts.

The interactive sessions covered the latest updates on important topics including phishing protection, strong passwords and authentication, social engineering defense, cloud and physical security, and proper incident reporting procedures.
