The CNMI Public School System Child Nutrition Program’s Summer Food Service will run from June 23 to July 31 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The program is for kids 18 years old and younger and will be available at DMS, FMS, GES, KAGES, KOBES, OES, OES, TMS, and WSR. Meals will also be distributed at Tinian Elementary School, Sinapalo Elementary School, and RHI JHS.

“Kids have to take their own meals,” Child Nutrition Program Director Dale Roberts said.

He added, “This is a community meals program, not a school meals program, meaning we don’t care if you’re a student, a toddler or an infant and if you live in Garapan and attend Garapan school, it’s ok to take a meal from Kagman Elementary if you’re staying at your auntie’s house during the week while mom is working.”

CNMI PSS CNP said that a student ID is not required and cannot be used in lieu of a child being on site. The program will provide one meal for each child who comes to the site. Lunches are available while supplies last.
