CUC Restores Power to Rota Airport & Rota Health Center

On October 23, 2026, at approximately 9:00am, the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation (CUC) successfully restored power to the Benjamin T. Manglona Rota International Airport, and at approximately 12:22pm, Power was also restored to the Rota Health Center, both facilities had been operating on generator power following Super Typhoon Bavi.

The next phase of restoration, CUC will continue working to restore electricity to the remaining villages and areas across Rota that are still without power.

The Rota Mayor’s Office extends its sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated CUC staff for their tireless efforts and commitment to restoring essential services to our island in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Bavi. (PR)
