Twelve Saipan soldiers took part in a deployment ceremony on Guam earlier this month as they prepare to join the next rotation of security forces at the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile site.
According to the Guam National Guard, Task Force Sentinels provide 24/7 base defense operations, including entry access control, counter-drone operations, perimeter security through roving patrols and guard towers, and other critical force protection missions.
