Hagåtña, Guam — Bank of Guam announces the launch of its customer relief program as recovery efforts continue across the region following Super Typhoon Bavi.

TYPHOON BAVI FORBEARANCE PROGRAM

To help ease the financial burden of recovery, Bank of Guam is offering a three-month payment forbearance program for eligible consumer loan customers.

An automatic payment forbearance has been applied to all existing consumer loans for customers in Rota, regardless of account status. No action is required for eligible Rota consumer loan customers. Customers who wish to continue making their scheduled loan payments may do so.

Customers in Rota with automobile, commercial, or mortgage loans may request payment forbearance based on their individual circumstances.

Customers in Guam, Saipan, and Tinian may also request payment forbearance for consumer, automobile, commercial, and mortgage loans. All requests will be reviewed based on each borrower's individual circumstances.

Customers with scheduled automatic deductions or recurring loan payments should make the necessary arrangements to pause those payments during the forbearance period.

SCHEDULED LOAN PAYMENTS

• Customers enrolled in automatic loan payments directly through Bank of Guam will have their payment schedules adjusted automatically.

• Customers using Online Banking Bill Pay will need to update their recurring payment schedule within Online Banking to reflect the forbearance period.

• Customers making loan payments through payroll deduction will need to coordinate with their employer or payroll provider to temporarily suspend or skip payments during the forbearance period.
