CNMI Women Accelerate Action

The CNMI Women’s Association held its 11th annual Women’s Summit at the multi-purpose center on Saipan on Tuesday. The theme was “Accelerate Action” with the hope to empower, elevate, and inspire women across the Marianas.

“This summit is a call to action—an opportunity to accelerate progress, uplift one another, and build a future where every woman’s potential is realized,” organizers said in the program.

CNMI House Speaker Edmund Sablan Villagomez, Floor Leader Marissa Rene Flores, Rep. Denita Kaipat Yangetmai, and other Members of the House presented a resolution celebrating Women’s Month.

Atkins Kroll Saipan general manager Tracy Guerrero delivered inspirational remarks, where she called on women to lead with empathy and hold boundaries without guilt. “You do not need permission to shine; you just need to decide,” she said.

Women leaders in the environment, health, commerce, and government held presentations about their respective fields. The event also featured cultural and traditional arts.
