Groups help over 60 foster kids impacted by Super Typhoon Sinlaku
CNMI Division of Youth Services-Child Protective Services continues to respond to cases of child abuse and neglect across the islands even in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Sinlaku. They told Marianas Press that they are serving 25 families involving 60 children currently and report an increase in cases post storm. They say they see cases related alcohol abuse, substance abuse, and stress.
