[UPDATE] Joey Maratita found; Joey Maratita reported missing

Update: As of 10:56 PM last night, Joey Maratita is back home at his residence with his family. He is safe and well.

10/06/2025 - From CNMI DPS:

On October 4, 2025, at approximately 5:39 PM, the DPS dispatch received a report of a missing person. The individual has been identified as 30-year-old Joey Maratita.

Joey was last seen by family members on the evening of October 3, 2025, at approximately 11:00 PM.

As of this morning, October 5, 2025, the DFEMS Search & Rescue Unit, in coordination with DPS officers and family members, has initiated a search in the LaoLao area, beginning near Railroad Drive and extending toward LaoLao Beach.

We ask that anyone with information regarding Joey Maratita’s whereabouts please contact DPS CIB at 664-9042 or call '911.'
