NMC: Students staying on Campus for the Rest of the Spring 2026 Term
Northern Marianas College president Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero sent the NMC community the following message on Friday, March 20:
“…We are excited to announce that we will stay on the As Terlaje campus for the remainder of the Spring 2026 term. This means that course sessions and activities may be adjusted as appropriate, and that student support services and other campus programs will also be offered, as appropriate, in-person and on campus.
With this decision to stay on campus, please note the following:
Advisors and instructors will work closely with students on changes that might affect their respective schedules.
Students are encouraged to proactively stay in close contact with their advisors and instructors for possible changes in class schedules and other developments.
When appropriate, the College will also issue official announcements through social media, news outlets, and email. .
Precautions will be taken on the As Terlaje campus to ensure student and employee safety should current or future construction affect traffic, parking, and access to buildings.
Announcements about location(s) and modalities for the Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 term courses will be issued later in the Spring term.
As with the decision to stay on campus for the first half of the term, we are confident this is the best course of action to meet our students' needs, maximize our limited resources, and maintain a unified college experience. With that, we thank you again for your understanding, your flexibility, and your resilience.”
