Police investigate homicide in Garapan

On May 2, 2026, at approximately 11:23 p.m., DPS 911 Dispatch received a report of a disturbance along Asusena Avenue in Garapan.

Responding officers arrived on scene and discovered an unresponsive adult male lying on the roadway. The individual was observed to have sustained multiple injuries.

Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services (DFEMS) personnel responded and immediately rendered medical aid, including CPR. The victim was transported to the Commonwealth Health Center, where the attending emergency room physician later pronounced him deceased.

Preliminary investigation indicates that DPS Dispatch received the call from an anonymous individual reporting two males engaged in a physical altercation in the area. Upon arrival, officers located one male lying motionless near the BenCam Building, the second individual had fled the scene before police arrived.
