Volunteers braved rainy conditions to clean Micro Beach and sort recyclable plastics during the June Community Recycles Plastics (CRP) event, held during Ocean Month.

Plastic collected and processed through CRP events is transformed into reusable products such as coasters and pendants. Organizers thanked community volunteers and participants from the Schools for Environmental Education program, including students from Saipan Southern High School, Mount Carmel School, and Green Meadow School, for their efforts.

The project was supported in part through a grant from the National Park Foundation and The Coca-Cola Company.
