SBA Opens Business Recovery Center in Saipan today

The Small Business Administration will open the Business Recovery Center in Saipan to help small businesses impacted by Super Typhoon Sinlaku with low-interest disaster loans now available. The BRC opens today at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce office at the Marianas Business Plaza in Suite 201-A. Its hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

SBA Public Affairs Specialist Raenada Mason told Marianas Press that they’ve reached over $3.87 million in loan approvals. However, 99% has been for homeowners and renters, with businesses and non-profits only accounting for 1% of the total so far.
