Town House Furniture & Appliances to close permanently on Feb. 28

Management of Town House Furniture & Appliances confirmed in an interview this morning, Feb. 28, at their Chalan Kanoa office that the store will close permanently.
They said they received a memo from their Guam main office in January and that āafter careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close the businessā because āthe revenues here cannot sustain operating the business anymore.ā
Management said employees are not going to be displaced and will instead be reassigned to sister companies, while customers with existing warranties and deliveries will be taken care of and may contact the office for support.
Management clarified the closure applies only to the furniture and appliances store and denied speculation involving sister company Jones & Guerrero Co. Inc., stressing there is no truth to rumors that KFC will close on Saipan.
In a notice of closure that circulated on social media last Feb. 27, Town House Furniture & Appliances announced it will permanently close its CNMI store on Feb. 28, 2026.
This, following what management described as careful consideration. The company thanked the CNMI community for its years of support and expressed appreciation to its employees for their service, loyalty, and dedication.
