Guam Governor Lou Leon Guerrero visits Rota, one week after Super Typhoon Bavi devastated the island

Guam Governor Lou Leon Guerrero arrived on Rota today, one week after Super Typhoon Bavi devastated the Marianas and dealt a direct blow to the island. Rota Mayor Aubry M. Hocog, her staff, and federal partners from FEMA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security welcomed Governor Leon Guerrero upon her arrival at Benjamin T. Manglona International Airport. The governor is scheduled to tour the island today to assess the widespread damage and meet with local officials as recovery efforts continue.
